World Cup 2019, India vs New Zealand: India’s probable playing 11

After two back-to-back victories against mighty opponents like South Africa and Australia, Virat Kohli-led team India will face New Zealand on Thursday in their third match of the World Cup 2019.

In unfortunate turn of events, Indian opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan had injured his left thumb during his match-winning knock of 117 runs against Australia.

The left-handed batsman will remain out of action for at least three weeks.
It is expected that right-handed batsman KL Rahul will take the opening slot with Rohit Sharma for India's third game. In the absence of in-form Dhawan, all eyes will be on the Rohit-Rahul duo.

India probable playing 11: Virat Kohli (capt), Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja.
