Not Kohli or Sehwag, Smriti Mandhana used to copy this Asian player!

Indian Women cricket team has given moments of pure joy to their fans after registering three back to back victories in the group stage matches of World Cup against England, West Indies and arch rival Pakistan.

Batting sensation Smriti Mandhana has emerged as the star batswoman for the team as she scored 90 and 102 runs in her first two games. So far, she had a hard luck only in the match against Pakistan as she was dismissed after scoring only 2 runs.

The Indian opener is widely being compared to cricket great Virender Sehwag and also to Virat Kohli but the girl's favourite player while growing up was someone else.

It has come to light that the left-handed player was in awe with Sri-Lankan great Kumar Sangakkara. She used to copy his style on nets, for which she was scolded many times by her coach. Now, we know from where the lady draws her inspiration.

Even though Mandhana is widely being compared to male cricketers, we would love to say that she is not the shadow of anyone else's but she is just great on her own.
