It is a
matter of great pride that Indian cricket players sport Indian flag on their
helmet. In the honor of the tricolor and to express love for the nation, we
have often seen players like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli kissing their helmets
after a wonderful knock.
While all
the players wear their pride on the helmet, MS Dhoni is the only player who doesn’t
have an Indian flag. Notably, the national flag can’t be kept down on ground
given any situation and being the wicket-keeper of the team, Dhoni is forced to
keep his helmet down at several occasions.
A
wicket-keeper usually keeps the helmet someplace back in the distance when he
does not wear it because of which Dhoni chose not to keep the flag on his
helmet.
In the
