Virat Kohli no more the Number 1 T20 batsman as Australian player bags the top position

Latest ICC T20 Rankings have come out and in a major disappointment to the Indian fans, Virat Kohli has been dethroned without even playing a T20 match recently.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli was the top-ranked T20 batsman before missing the recently-concluded T20I series against Sri Lanka. He missed three matches and as a result, he witnessed a decline in his points. He lost 48 ranking points and slipped to the third rank. He had 824 points in his bag when he was at number one position, now he has 776 points.

Aaron Finch (Australian) now tops the list with 784 points, while West Indies opener Evin Lewis (780) is on the second spot.

In the team ranking, team Indian has moved up to the second place after defeating Sri-Lanka.
