Virat Kohli is not in mood to play against Sri Lanka this December; but why

Run-machine and Indian captain Virat Kohli seems to be worked up. The 28-year-old, who is enjoying the golden years of his career, doesn't want to play against Sri Lanka in December, if reports are to be believed.

The skipper had been playing cricket continuously and hardly takes a break between the series. The cricketer has now demanded a break from BCCI citing personal reasons.

This is what a source said, “Kohli has informed the BCCI that there are some personal reasons and that is why he won’t be available in the month of December. Kohli has been playing non-stop cricket for quite sometimes now and he certainly would like to be fresh for South Africa tour in January.”

If India goes on to play without Kohli, then men-in-blue will remain Kohli-less in a Test match along with the complete ODI and T20 series.

Meanwhile, the golden boy of Indian cricket team left cricket great Ricky Ponting behind after scoring the 31st century of his career on 22 October against New Zealand at Wankhede.
