Probable playing XI for India against Sri Lanka for the first ODI match

Indian team dominated Sri Lanka throughout the 3 Test match series as glorious run ended with a whitewash against the hosts.

The first match of the 5 matches ODI series will be played on 20 August. While India will look to extend their dominance, Sri Lanka will seek to bounce back in the ODI series.

The Indian team has been announced and big names including Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina missed out. Experienced spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have been rest for the series and the selectors gave chance to a young team.

The team is decorated with young and talented players because of which it will be tricky for captain Virat Kohli to select the playing XI.

According to Cricket Unplugged the Indian playing XI for the first ODI will look like this:

Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma (VC), Virat Kohli (C), KL Rahul, MS Dhoni (WK), Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah.
