Truth behind Hardik Pandya's 'hume toh apno ne loota' tweet on Champions Trophy final day

All-rounder Hardik Pandya won million of hearts on 18 June when his fearless batting performance against arch-rival Pakistan in the Champions Trophy final became the talk of the town.

The youngster didn't give up to the pressure and sent the ball out of the boundary at regular intervals when the six batsmen of the top order were already shown the door by the Pak bowlers.

A knock decorated with 6 sixes 4 fours met an unexpected end when Pandya got run-out after a mix-up with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja found himself facing brutal criticism for not sacrificing his wicket when Pandya was playing brilliantly.

After India lost the match by 180 runs, a tweet began to go viral which was rumoured to be posted by the official account of Pandya. The tweet read, ‘Hume to apno ne loota gairon m kahan dumm tha.’

The tweet was no where to be found on Hardik's account and it was being said that he deleted it. However, the flamboyant cricketer has clarified that it was a fake tweet. It was a work of someone's crafty photoshop skills.
