Indian skipper Virat Kohli took to his
Facebook account and congratulated the women’s cricket team captain
Mithali Raj for becoming the highest run-getter in ODI but the
cricketer did a major goof-up.
Excited Kohli mistakenly used the
picture of the Poonam Raut while congratulating Mithali Raj in the
Facebook post. The post went viral on social media. It had been taken
down and can't be found on his timeline.
Mithali Raj went past former England
captain Charlotte Edwards’s record of 5992 runs to achieve the
great feat, while Raut scored a century against Australia on 12 July
in the ICC Women’s World Cup instead.
Kohli is currently on a vacation with
actress Anushka Sharma in New York.
