You will be surprised to know how many times Dhoni has hit a winning six!

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who celebrates his birthday on 7 July, is the master of ODI finishes. Who could ever forget the iconic moment when Dhoni smashed the ball out of the boundary for a six and India won a chance to lift the World Cup.

Hitting a six to chase down a target seems to be like a regular day task for our very own Mahi. He holds the record of finishing a One-Day International (ODI) with a six on 9 occasions.

Mahi finished it off in a style with six against four countries that are West Indies (1), Zimbabwe (2), Sri Lanka (4) and Pakistan (2).

The former captain did it four times in 2005 in the space of less than four months against West Indies, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.

Other finishing sixes came in the years 2007, 2008, 2011 (World Cup final), 2013 and 2015.
