The Indian cricket team captain Virat
Kohli has carved an image of being a great batsman who provides the
much needed strength to the batting line-up.
Run-machine Kohli is not only known for
his consistency and on-field aggression, but also for his off-field
charismatic style.
Virat Kohli, who loves to get inked to
represent his personality, sports many tattoos that add different
meaning to his life. The Kohli has been inked eight times.
The first tattoo on Virat's arm is
Monastery. It is a symbol of a place of peace and power, as explained
by the cricketer himself.
The second tattoo is of Lord Shiva. The
Mansarovar lake and Kailash mountain, where Lord Shiva used to
meditate, have also been drawn on Virat's arm.
The third tattoo is of a Japanese
Samurai warrior with a raised sword. It is believed that this one is
Virat's favourite.
Virat has also got the names of his
mother (Saroj Kohli) and late father (Prem Kohli) in Hindi inked on
his arm.
He also has a tattoo representing his
Zodiac sign, scorpion.
Other tattoos on his body includes his
Test cap and One day cap number which are 269 and 175 respectively.
On his left shoulder, there is God's
eye. It can rightly be said that the god's eye tattoo is a symbol of
the power of seeing and understanding the unknown.
