Run-machine Virat Kohli is unstoppable
and has become a master of chases. The right-handed batsman achieved
a feat of scoring most hundreds in the 50-over format while chasing.
He left the Cricket God Sachin Tendulkar behind to gain the first
place in the list.
During the fifth ODI, Indian skipper
Kohli smashed his 28th ton to guide India to a eight-wicket victory
against West Indies on 6 July at Sabina Park in Kingston. India
clinched the series by 3-1.
In January 2017, Kohli had broken
Tendulkar's record of getting most centuries in successful
run-chases.
Kohli's latest century is his 18th
century in a chase. Tendulkar held a record of 17 tons while chasing
and the third in the list is Sri-Lankan cricketer Tillakaratne
Dilshan with 11 centuries.
Notably, Kohli achieved the milestone
of hitting 18 centuries in a chase in 102 innings, while Tendulkar
took 232 innings to score 17 chase hundreds.
